Trading Times for CL A similar analysis can be quickly done for CL. Again the chart shows the hourly ranges for each weekday during the last 50 days.

Highest volatility is found on Wednesday between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM EST. What a surprise! Here are further details:

Best Trading Times EST

Monday 9:00 - 10:00

Tuesday 9:00 - 10:00

Wednesday 10:00 - 12:00

Thurday 9:00 - 11:00

Friday 8:00 - 10:00

So for all CL traders: Get up 1 hour early on Friday. If you take a day off, then it should be Monday or Tuesday.
